Your customers are the heart of your business. How do you thank them for their loyalty?
You could always send them a card, or take them out to lunch. You could even spring for a golf tournament or a fishing trip.
You could also throw them a killer party – or if you’re like the folks at custom RV shop Millennium Luxury Coaches, throw your raving fans a party that lasts 4 crazy, fun-filled days!
When Zerrin at Millennium contacted me to be part of the final night of their client appreciation rally, her marketing team hadn’t yet decided on a theme – they just knew they had to spoil their guests with some fabulous live entertainment. We hit it off right off the bat, and after exchanging several crazy ideas, they booked me first and selected the theme of their event around my show. They went with a Venetian Carnival theme.
Are there belly dancers at the Carnival in Venice? Probably not. But suspend belief for a moment! And picture a mysterious Bohemian dancer weaving her way through an elegant, masked crowd in the streets of Venezia….are you feeling what I’m feeling?
To create this vibe, I stepped a little outside my classic style and filled my show with the flashiest props – a blinged-out shamadan (candelabra), sword, and giant red Isis wings. Performing my show in the round only added to the magical Venetian street performer vibe.
Of course, I had some great participation from this crowd. (Doesn’t hurt that they were limbered up from a yoga class earlier that morning, and an interactive hula show the day before!)
With a live band, a mask-decorating station, feathers and masks on the tabletops, and delicious Italian food from Puff-N-Stuff (one of my favorite caterers in Orlando!), guests were transported to an exotic Italian carnival without even leaving Orlando!
Have a look at some of these beautiful photos from the event….and when you’re done, head over to Millennium Luxury Coaches’ website and picture yourself going “glamping” in one of their stunningly beautiful RV’s!
