There's a huge difference between atmospheric ente There's a huge difference between atmospheric entertainment that fills a room and artistry that honors the people that surround you. If you're planning a wedding that's rooted in heritage, then you know that your culture isn't a theme or a costume. It's the heartbeat of your entire celebration. When you curate your day around real substance and cultural resonance rather than trending aesthetics, stage gimmicks and quick photo ops, your guests don't just watch the event. They feel it, cherish it and remember it forever 🤍 As an Orlando wedding belly dancer of over 15 years, I design personalized shows for couples that value and want to invest in meaningful cultural experiences, timeless memories and plenty of dance floor magic. If you don't want to settle for just "ambiance" or costumed characters at your wedding, I'd love to hear from you! DM me to reserve your date 💍 Video: @bahia_films
Let's talk about a weird but potentially growing p Let's talk about a weird but potentially growing problem in the event industry: AI imagery, extreme photo editing, and dancers supposedly altering their promo photos to catfish clients. To be clear: we ALL want to look flawless and put our best foot forward online. Most professional entertainers including myself edit our photos in some way, shape or form whether it's to enhance the lighting and hues of a photo or to remove distracting elements like a huge zit or a rogue strand of hair stuck to our forehead. There's a HUGE difference between professional photo editing and what my clients claim some dancers are doing: completely altering their face, body and features to the point where they're unrecognizable. Here’s why AI and filters hurt everyone: For Clients: Nobody wants to get scammed. Booking a belly dancer based on an AI-generated fantasy leads to disappointment when the person who walks through the door looks completely different from the images in their promo materials. For Dancers: Trust is everything in the event industry. Misrepresenting yourself destroys client trust, damages your reputation, and hurts the standard for our entire dance community. Real skill, stage presence, and professionalism will always outshine a digital filter. Besides, most clients WANT to see the real you. If they don't...they deserve what they pay for. 3 Ways Clients Can Spot the Difference Before Booking: Ask for Raw Video: Photos can easily be manipulated, but unedited performance clips or live video stories don't lie. Check Recent Tagged Posts: Look at photos and videos tagged by previous clients or venues, not just the curated main feed. Verify the Portfolio: Look for consistency across multiple events over time rather than a handful of polished, perfect shots. Take the time to read online reviews and if a dancer isn't on Google, Yelp, GigSalad or any site that publishes third-party reviews, consider that a bright red flag. Let's keep entertainment real. What you see should be what you get! 💃 #bellydance #bellydancer #weddingplanning #weddingentertainment
The joy of getting dance floor shots back from my The joy of getting dance floor shots back from my gigs will never get old 💃🕺Shout-outs to every photographer, videographer and content creator who understands that it's not just the decor that makes a wedding beautiful. It's also the magic of the dance floor and the people who were there 💙 Photos: @brandonburridge

There are more belly dancers in Orlando than there There are more belly dancers in Orlando than there are stars in the sky....and you went with me 🤍 Thank you to all of my past, present and future clients for letting me stand out and serve you. I know that in this market my clients have lots of choices. And I will never take yours for granted 🫶🏼 Thank you to everyone who supports my passion and allows me to do what I love. I'm grateful to serve the Central Florida community every day! 💃🏻 Video: @bahia_films
When the birthday girl can't celebrate in Dubai th When the birthday girl can't celebrate in Dubai this year, you bring Dubai to her 🌴🐪💫 I had so much fun bringing the exotic atmosphere to this gorgeous themed event at Reunion Resort back in July 😍 Thank you @sheerathedancer for making me a part of your sister-in-law's birthday "trip!" ✈️ 📸: @preciousportraits__
POV: You posted just ONE of your recent backstage POV: You posted just ONE of your recent backstage selfies without adding text or audio or turning it into a carousel. You didn't go back to see how many people liked it. You went about your day, touched some grass and began prep for the weekend's gigs. You reset the timeline back to 2017 when the industry was all about creating and making your clients happy and less about turning every gig into a content shoot and pretending to be famous on IG. Life is good again. Now if only hashtags still worked 🤣 Who wants to join my revolution? #bellydance #BellydanceProblems #bellydancelife
Spent my Saturday night doing two of my favorite t Spent my Saturday night doing two of my favorite things: dancing at a wedding and being near the ocean 🌊🩵💍 I had such a blast performing at Dominique and Connor's gorgeous coastal wedding at @tampabaywatch in Tierra Verde! I bonded immediately with the bride's family when Dominique's mom Ingrid reached out and I saw her (203) area code from my Mother Land (Connecticut) 🫶🏼 and together we created a very special Latin Fusion playlist to honor Dominique's Latin and Arab roots. (With plenty of inspiration from my recent ventures into Latin belly dance fusion with @angelbellydance 💃🏼). It was such an honor to make dance floor magic with this beautiful group! Congrats, you two! 🥂 Wishing you a happy Ever After! And thank you Ingrid for trusting me with Dominique's special day 🤍 Planner: @ariaeventsinc_florida

THIS post has been a long time in the making, and THIS post has been a long time in the making, and it's a long one...so cheers to you if you make it to the end 😎 Things have been feeling pretty "heavy" for a lot of us in the belly dance community these days...especially those of us who have been dancing long enough to have witnessed a vibe shift in the industry and the world. I'm posting this to see if this resonates with anyone else in the dance community...and how we can shift the vibes back in the right direction. We can't alter the course of current events, but we CAN focus on the things within our control like how we show up for our own local communities and what we do with our unique skills ❤️ More on these topics to come. Thank you @chantaldancelife for giving me the original inspiration behind this post. Dance may be glamorous entertainment, but we could all stand to pull back the curtain every once in awhile and reveal the REALITY of the business ❤️ Dancers and artists, what's been weighing on your mind?
Every once in awhile, I actually get to spend my S Every once in awhile, I actually get to spend my Saturday LEARNING dance instead of being busy performing 🙏🏼 I had a wonderful time today learning retro Egyptian techniques with the coolest Canadian dancer @melissa.gamal ❤️ We did a deep dive on the iconic stylings of Fifi Abdo, Soheir Zaki and Najwa Fouad and then did some sassy 80's sha'abi 💃🏻 I've always been partial to Golden Age and vintage dance styles and this class gave me so many techniques to help me master those old-school steps and vibes I love so much 😍 Thank you @zizidances for hosting. Can't wait to do it again!
