You can't always sell all your belongings, leave your corporate job in a blaze of glory, and move to Mumbai to become a Bollywood starlet...but you can be a belly dancer and perform for Indian crowds all the time, which is pretty much the next best thing 😝 I had tons of fun last night celebrating Andy's birthday with his wife Aarti and all of their friends and family! (Many of whom I recognized from previous gigs). It was standing room only on the dance floor as we shimmied away to the latest Bollywood hits! Sometimes, it takes a few days to come back down to earth after working my magic at an EPIC event 💃🏻 Maria and Chad's wedding could have won an award for Most Crowd Participation! A not-so-distant Thursday #throwback to Ayman and McKenzie's wedding, one of my first performances after lockdown. And what a fun wedding this was! The first half of 2021 brought many interesting experiences, from navigating socially distant audience participation to rocking a masked and mysterious new look for a couple months. Now with this all behind me, I think what I'll remember most are the clients who supported me along the way and my friends in the wedding industry who referred me for some truly fabulous events.
