As an Orlando belly dancer, I believe that the perfect wedding contains three magic ingredients: 1. Great Music, 2. Entertainment, and 3. Lots and lots of dancing. While all of my couples appreciate the value of great entertainment, my September couple Marianne and Patrick went above and beyond to create the Party of a Lifetime at their Crystal Ballroom at Veranda wedding. My belly dance performance was just the beginning of an unforgettable evening. The ridiculously gorgeous Phoebe Vecchioni and Phoebe’s Samba Team dazzled the crowd with their hot Brazilian Carnival act after my show, and DJ Michael Lofaro of Rhythm of the Night Entertainment kept guests dancing all night with his high-energy personality and style. If you wanted to describe the atmosphere of Marianne and Patrick’s big day, the phrase “never a dull moment” would be an understatement!

Like many of my couples, Marianne and Patrick are Egyptian, and found me through their extended network of friends. Before the Big Day, Marianne and I worked very closely to pick favorite songs, with most of their music being classical Egyptian standards like Alf Leila wa Leila and Luxor Baladna. The show consisted mostly of audience participation and group dancing, with a cane dance and an entrance with LED Isis wings. The dance floor was so packed, it was difficult to move, and in true Egyptian wedding style, the group was a big family reunion with guests from several other weddings I’ve danced at, and even one of my previous brides – hi, Jess!

Here are some of my favorite pics from the wedding. Aren’t Marianne and Patrick just the most gorgeous couple? And isn’t the Crystal Ballroom in MetroWest absolutely to die for? A special thank you to Anna So for sharing all these amazing images with me. And thank you and mabrouk (congratulations) to the newlyweds for making me part of your perfect wedding!
